Gateway to English Bay, this is a retail area concentrated over two blocks of Davie between Cardero and Denman. The sections of Denman Street one block to the south and north of Davie Street are also part of Lower Davie and together make up the Gateway to English Bay. While restaurants and specialty retail complement the beach and ocean vibe, Lower Davie is a place where locals will find a supermarket, drugstore and liquor store (as of March 2019 these are all under redevelopment).
