Lumiere is back and brighter than ever!

A series of interactive art installations light up three iconic Vancouver sites over the span of three nights at the following locations:

  • English Bay
  • Jim Deva Plaza
  • šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl’e7énḵ Square, formerly known as the North Plaza of the Vancouver Art Gallery

This year, with the support of event partners, the festival will feature 17 public artworks created by local and international artists.

New this year, Lumiere will expand to the šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl’e7énḵ Square, with seven interactive installations to help celebrate the arrival of Daylight Savings Time. The plaza will become a showcase of music and light art to inspire, intrigue and interact with.

Public Disco will return to light up Davie Village on Saturday November 3 for a night of music and dancing. With a lineup of local DJ’s, hundreds of disco balls and a variety of immersive art works, this will be a night not to miss.
