This week, we were inspired by Intracorp‘s series of West End architecture and heritage walking tours and have been paying lots of attention to the numerous architectural gems in the neightbourhood. With that in mind, it was quite serendipitous when Ade Win posted this week’s winning photograph, which features the Holly Lodge on Davie Street.

This stunning apartment building at the corner of Jervis and Davie was built in 1912 and for many decades was the tallest apartment block in the West End. While it may not be the newest or most modern addition to the residential mix, it certainly is spectacular looking! Ade Win’s photo captures the grand facade perfectly.

Ade Win has won a gift certificate for dinner at Left Bank and frozen yogurt at Styo on Denman, thanks to contest partner Intracorp and The Jervis. Additionally, Ade Win is now in the running for the chance to win the grand prize of a new Electra Loft bicycle from Denman Bike Shop at the end of the summer.

Share your West End memories and adventures on Instagram and Twitter – but don’t forget to tag your images with #WeAmaze, @WestEndBIA and @IntracorpCanada.

Who knows, you might be next week’s winner!
