EEEKYou Shine, #WeAmaze Photo Contest
It’s back! Last summer’s #WeAmaze in the West End photo contest was such a success that we decided to bring it back, with a twist! With December’s Lumiere 2014 event in mind, we want you to show us everything you love about the West End during the rainy months: the festive lighting, bustling shops, cozy restaurants, and especially the holiday spirit!
To enter, share your best pics of a wintery West End (the area of downtown Vancouver west of Burrard) on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook and use #WEAmaze and @WestEndBIA in the caption. We’ll review the entries daily and our photo editor Nelson Mouellic will select four (4) weekly favourites. Each of these weekly pics will be placed into a shortlist for a chance to win a West End VIP Package!

Who can enter?
Canadian residents 18 years of age or older.
Why is entering so easy?
Because you can enter on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter. There are two ways to enter the You Shine, #WEAmaze Photo Contest:
1) Like the West End BIA Facebook page and post your pic on our wall.
OR
2) Post your pic to Instagram or Twitter and use #WEAmaze and @WestEndBIA in the caption. We check the feeds daily!

When is the deadline for entry?
Be sure to post your pics by 11:59pm, January 12, 2015.
What happens if you win?
If your image is selected, you’ll win the following prize.
GRAND PRIZE: A West End VIP Package including:
- Accommodation at Times Square Suites Hotel
- Dinner for two at Left Bank Vancouver
- Bike rental for two courtesy Spoke Bicycle Rentals
- Two passes to the Vancouver Aquarium
- A gift basket from Whole Foods Market
What constitutes a winning pic?
The West End BIA will post images by the 24 finalists on our website and we’ll put it to a People’s Choice vote on our Facebook page between January 15 and 29, 2015. The images with the most votes at the voting event, will win the Grand Prize.
How many pics can win?
There is only one prize, so only one entry can win.
When and how are winners announced and contacted?
Winners will be announced on January 30, 2015. If they do not respond within 7 days, they automatically forfeit their prize. Winners must provide proof that they are 18 years of age or older to obtain their prize.
How do winners obtain prizes?
The prize can be collected in person from the West End BIA, 411 – 1033 Davie Street, Vancouver, BC V6E 1M7
